Cleaning

Briefly rinse the lenses under lukewarm water to remove dust and sand. Then clean them with a drop of mild soap and dry them with a clean, soft microfibre cloth.

What to avoid

• No tissues, clothing or kitchen paper – they can scratch the lenses.
• No solvents, alcohol, glass cleaner or hot water.
• Don’t leave your sunglasses in a hot car – heat can damage the frame and coating.

Storage

Keep your sunglasses in their case and never put them down with the lenses facing down. Put them on and take them off with both hands so that the hinges don’t wear loose.

Hinges

If your sunglasses feel loose, the screws on the hinges can often be tightened with a fine screwdriver. If in doubt, any optician can help.
